Kenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Garden Tearoom

Thanks to a multi-million pound investment project including a recreation of the lost Elizabethan garden and the restoration of Leicester's Gatehouse, Kenilworth Castle's 16th century stables now houses an impressive tea room and a new exhibition charting the castle's tumultuous history. Serving a wide range of locally sourced produce, the castle tearoom makes a delicious addition to any trip to Kenilworth and with its under floor heating can offer some warmth on those extra chilly days. Why not try the Kenilworth truckle sausage, specially made by a local butcher? Or the Warwickshire flat bread, baked potatoes, or freshly made soup served with rustic bread? Tea, coffee, cold drinks and hand-made cakes are also available. Groups are advised to pre-order their meal and make a booking either before their visit or on arrival at the castle but as food is cooked fresh, groups can enjoy anything the tea room has to offer.
