Warwick Arts Centre

Description

Based at the heart of the University of Warwick on the outskirts of Coventry, Warwick Arts Centre has a national reputation for its wide-ranging programme. With several venues under one roof, including the prestigious Butterworth Hall, it is one of the largest arts centres in the country, welcoming thousands of visitors all year round.

The programme at Warwick Arts Centre is diverse and eclectic, ranging from the best UK and international theatre, prestigious orchestras and big-name comedians to music gigs, films, experimental studio work and accessible work for children and families. In addition it is the home of the acclaimed Mead Gallery, a distinctive space exhibiting works by the UK’s best contemporary visual artists.

Warwick Arts Centre aims to be a place of creative stimulation, refreshment, and artistic adventure for audiences and artists alike.

Remaining open throughout, Warwick Arts Centre is currently undergoing a multi-million pound makeover, and on re-launch in Autumn 2020 it will have a new ground floor gallery, three cinema screens and a spacious foyer in which to relax and encounter the arts in all shapes and forms.
