Fourteen artists, one challenge… Transform a car into a work of art!

Step into a world where art and engineering collide, and see cars as you’ve never seen them before in this incredible new exhibition. Cartists will bring together some of the best contemporary creativity in the UK for an exclusive and unique fusion of industrial design and artistic imagination.

Taking inspiration from the Art Car movement, Coventry Transport Museum is challenging graffiti artists, lighting designers, 3D artists, graphic designers and more to create an extraordinary display of bespoke vehicles and artworks using cars or their parts. Featuring work from a wide range of internationally recognised artists including Patrick Murphy, Christiaan Nagel, Dale vN Marshall, Cityzen Kane, Pahnl, Carrie Reichardt, Ben Slow, Emerald Faerie and more.

Enjoy a range of 10 minute interactive playlets from our costumed explainers, step back in time and hear their stories.

Tuesday - Saturday
Make your own motoring treasure out of all sorts of bits and bobs! From scrap paper to empty plastic bottles create your motoring treasure.
