Visit Santa! Vintage Sleigh Ride

Date: 24 November 2017 - 23 December 2017

Every day

Location: Coventry - Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Jordan Well, Coventry City Centre, CV1 5QP

Time: 10:00

This Christmas make family memories to cherish! Join us for a magical ride on an enchanting vintage sleigh. Journey to Lapland on this magical moving ride, pulled by two trusty reindeer.

Meet Santa, tell him your Christmas wishes and receive a special gift.

After 60 years at the Co-op department store, Santa’s Sleigh ride has moved to Coventry Transport Museum and families can once again enjoy the magic and tradition of a visit to Santa on this extraordinary vintage ride. An experience like no other, the sleigh is uniquely nostalgic. Its original mechanics and fixtures have been maintained but unchanged since the 60s - they don't make them like this anymore!

While you’re waiting to see Santa enjoy a drop in activity in our Christmas craft zone. See website for full details.

Santa’s Top Tip #1 It gets very busy as it gets near to Christmas so avoid the queues by coming to see us early, to begin your festive season in style!

Santa’s Top Tip #2 Remember we are open in term time which is an ideal quieter time to bring pre-schoolers to enjoy their visit.
