As a conservation charity our priority is looking after the most endangered animals on the planet, here at the Zoo and across the world.

Pick up your very own Conservation Passport throughout the week and stop off at some of our most critically-endangered animals to collect a special stamp to add to your passport!

Bear Cubs Climbing Camp

Looking for a way to keep the kids entertained over the half term break? Bring them along to Bear Rock climbing Camps.

Enjoy climbing games and fun team-building activities, learn how to tie knots and belay. Sessions are tailored to suit each child’s ability and interests.

Children must be aged 7+ to participate.

Family Hub Open Afternoon

A free open afternoon for 0-19 year olds, with ice cream, activities, raffle prizes, bouncy castle, face painting, karaoke, fire engine for example . Come and join the fun.

A free event for all families from Styvechale to Allesley with 0-19 year olds. The event is held at the Hub in Tile Hill at the side of the Library. There is no charge for any of the activities.

Within this exciting exhibition artist Stewart Francis Easton explores the creation and development of folkloric tale.

Beginning with a series of creation myths Easton maps the course of a folk tale from its inception in history, with its many branches, to the tale’s role in contemporary life.

May half-term is all about Adventure, Animation and Land Rovers! This year is the 70th birthday of Land Rover and we are celebrating with some great themed activities for you to enjoy.

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for you to make your own short animated film with a Land Rover twist!
Create a storyboard and build a Land Rover model to star in your animation using ‘Animate It!’, the easy to use stop motion animation software and app developed by Kudlian Software and Aardman - the world famous animation studio and creators of family favourites such as Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Morph.

The script is everything, so start thinking about the plot for your animation now.

Additional information or comments: All activities are included in Museum admission. There is no need to pre-book, just drop into the Learning Spaces when you visit. At busy times timed tickets will be issued. All materials are supplied, just bring your imagination!
