The Farmers Market takes place on each third Friday of the month and has always proven to be a popular attraction for the shoppers and visitors in the city that are hoping to experience the very best fresh local produce available. Stalls will be open between 9am and 3pm and market traders will be selling goods and produce that are all sourced from within and close to the local community.
The market offers a variety of fresh, locally sourced seasonal produce and is hugely popular with the public. A great way to start the New Year is to try something new. Take a look at the vast range of products that are on offer from the farmers, including honey, mustard, marmalade, jams, organic meat, sausages and a variety of flavoured rustic farmhouse breads, baguettes and croissants, cheese, pickles, fruit juices and hearty homemade soups, along with fresh organic fruit and seasonal vegetables.
Stallholders will also be offering up a wide selection of locally produced wines and beers and all of the goods on offer are farmed within 50 miles of your local region, offering the freshest, tastiest produce available. There is also a variety of takeaway foods on offer to tempt you as you browse.
